Using this website

This website gives general information about Hollis Butcher Co. and lets you send pre-orders and freezer order requests. Prices and availability shown are starting points.

Orders and swaps

An order is confirmed once a butcher texts you the final weight and price
Cuts depend on each animal, and we may swap a cut for one of equal value and similar use
We call you before any swap that changes the price
Freezer orders, pig roasts and catering are confirmed in a written quote

Same-day cutoffs

Same-day pickup needs an order by noon, and same-day delivery by 11 AM, or by 10 AM for Walker’s Point, Bay View, Shorewood and Whitefish Bay. Orders after the cutoff are ready the next open day.

Delivery

Cold delivery is offered within our listed zones for the fee shown. Time windows are estimates. If nobody is home and there is no safe spot, we bring the order back and arrange a second run.

Payment, deposits and refunds

Everyday orders are paid at pickup or through the payment link before delivery. Freezer orders need a 25 percent deposit to hold an animal. If an order arrives warm or damaged, text us a photo the same day and we replace it.

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin.
